Dear colleagues,

Hopefully you are well.

I am currently advertising for a 2-year postdoc to undertake research on the ocean carbon sink and downward carbon transport in sub-polar waters of the Southern Ocean. The SRA will work with me on the consortium project CUSTARD (Carbon Uptake and Seasonal Traits of Antarctic Remineralisation Depth, https://roses.ac.uk/custard/, 2018-2022).

The postdoc will carry out seagoing measurements of carbonate chemistry on the 2019/2020 CUSTARD cruises and use these and other data for quantifying the carbon sink in subpolar waters of the Southern Ocean. The position has a 1 April 2019 start.

Applications are via:

https://myview.uea.ac.uk/webrecruitment/pages/vacancy.jsf?latest=01006347 , before 8 January 2019.

Contact me for further information.

Please, forward this email to potential candidates.

Kind regards,

Dorothee.
