The Nansen Legacy project are advertising 3 PhD studentships, to be based at UiT, in the areas of:

1) Sea ice and pelagic primary production with molecular mapping of primary producers,

2) vertical flux in different ice regimes and seasons, with focus on pelagic-benthic coupling, and

3) population dynamics and productivity of zooplankton (main focus on copepods) in different seasons.
