Writer/Editor role 

 

"As Women in Ocean Science is growing and expanding, we are looking for enthusiastic and creative editors and writers who are passionate about the ocean and are driven to empower fellow women in the marine science and conservation community. This is a fantastic opportunity for any university students and early career professionals looking to strengthen and advance their science communication skills. You'd be joining an incredible and diverse team of international scientists, conservationists and educators all driven to elevate and empower women, ultimately protecting the ocean.

 

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

- passion and knowledge of the marine environment 

- strong writing skills

- previous experience writing blog type articles 

- computer skills: use of Google Drive and Squarespace 

- able to work independently and remotely as part of the editorial team 

 

This is a voluntary position with a commitment of 4h per week.
