Climate Justice in the Arctic: an emerging research agenda

Dear UKPN member,

The following webinar might be of interest to you. The Centre for Climate justice is hosting a webinar titled “Climate Justice in the Arctic: An emerging research agenda” on Wednesday, 10th June from 4PM to 5:30PM British Summer Time (BST). The event is an opportunity to learn more about climate justice and social science research in the region and engage with speakers from the University of Washington, the University of Lapland and GCU: all members of the Climate Justice in the Arctic thematic network at the University of the Arctic (UArctic).

Please consider joining for three short presentations by the speakers, a Q&A session and group discussions (held entirely online). Attendees will be invited to reflect on the current progress and needs of this growing field of research, contribute their views and ideas towards a research agenda for climate justice in the Arctic, and lay the foundations for joint research projects, partnerships and collaborations. For more details and to register, please go to the webinar Eventbrite page. The session link will be shared with the registrants in a separate e-mail closer to the event date.

Thanks,

UKPN Team
