Next week is Polar week and I wanted to draw your attention to a number of events which APECS is organising.
16 March (not strictly polar week but of interest): APECS Townhall meeting (online). Your chance to find out what APECS is up to and where you can help.
20 March: deadline for photo competition with the theme Polar People.
20 March: APECS Online conference, register to participate in 1 or more of the 5 sessions theme: 'Outside the box'. Keynote speakers are Jane Francis (BAS), Tom Hart (University of Oxford) and John Walsh (Illinois)
23-24 March: Twitter campaign using #polarpeople
25 March: Polar week Reddit AMA 11-14 EST
