Vacancy - Researcher paleoclimate modelling, Bergen

Hi everyone,

This is not strictly a Polar post, but there is a one-year position available working with a great team in Norway.

The project is on looking at the influence of the Nordic Seas, on Arctic climate during the Pliocene (c. 3 million years ago) - trying to solve the problem of why models can’t capture the polar amplification of warming displayed in proxy data. All you need is a bit of experience in climate modelling.

Deadline for application is March 1st 2013.  See attachment for further details.

Thanks,

Aisling
