BOGS 2021 - Registration OPEN

We are delighted to invite you to the British Organic Geochemical Society (BOGS) conference, hosted by the University of Birmingham on the 21-22 July 2021. In light of the continuing COVID-19 situation, the organising committee have decided to deliver BOGS 2021 in a virtual format to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all conference participants.

The conference will involve two half-days of online presentations, flash talks, a keynote presentation by Prof. Erin McClymont (Durham University), social break-out sessions, prize-giving and an evening quiz. Registration is £15 for Post-PhD/Industry, £10 for PhD students, and is FREE for MSc and undergraduate students, and for individuals without funding. We believe this represents great value, and we would be grateful if supervisors could forward this opportunity to students who are keen to experience presenting their work in a friendly and supportive environment, or who are interested in organic geochemistry.

Further information can be found on our website (www.bogs2021.com) and Twitter (@BOGS_2021), including how to register, the preliminary schedule, talk/flash talk instructions and how to submit an abstract.

We look forward to welcoming you to BOGS 2021, and we hope the virtual format will help to make this year's conference the biggest and most accessible yet.

Best wishes,

The BOGS 2021 Organising Committee
