Opportunity for freelance work - £100 to £150 per day
Education through Expeditions (ETE) is a not-for-profit organisation which has been running Polar education outreach activities, 'Polar Fun Days,' for both primary and secondary schools for over 10 years. We are currently looking to expand our freelance outreach ambassadors, who are responsible for the delivery of school visits and workshops. The ideal candidate for this position should have a passion for the Polar Regions, have experience of work or travel in the Arctic or Antarctic, from either an adventure or science background and should wish to share their experience with young people. This position will be ideal for a recent graduate or student who is looking to further develop their science communication skills, and who has been to the Polar Regions and is willing to share their stories and running workshops.
All travel, expenses and accommodation will be covered in addition to the freelance wage.
We do urgently require an ambassador to cover school visits on the 13th, 14th, 17th and 18th Sept.
