Through the NERC GW4+ DTP there are two PhD projects being offered by British Antarctic Survey and University of Bath starting in October 2017 that may be of interest:
At British Antarctic Survey:

At University of Bath:
Atmospheric Waves from Antarctic Mountains, Islands and Oceans to the Edge of Space (http://nercgw4plus.ac.uk/project/atmospheric-waves-from-antarctic-mountains-islands-and-oceans-to-the-edge-of-space/ )
