The Software Sustainability Institute is hosting a workshop focusing on intellectual property, copyright, licensing and commercialisation. The workshop is hosted at the Oxford e-Research Centre, with representation from the qLegal team, University of Oxford Research Services, and the Open PHACTS Foundation.
The focus of the workshop will be on digital assets such as software, data and models, and will discuss IP issues and how they relate to academic research and collaborative projects. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask experts your questions, and to get advice about your concerns or areas of confusion.
The workshop is aimed towards academic researchers in coding/modelling-heavy projects, as well as lawyers and professionals specialising in intellectual property.
