School Outreach Opportunity, East Sussex

Hello all and Happy New Year!

As you may or may not know, outreach is a big part of the UKPN, and from time to time we receive requests from schools to have someone from us to visit them. Late last year, there was a very successful outreach day run in Manchester by a member of the UKPN. Over Christmas, I have received another request for a school visit.

Cathy, a teacher of 30 children aged 7-9 would like a visit from a Polar Scientist between January and March of this year to fit in with their "Frozen Planet" topic. The school is in Crowborough, East Sussex.

If anyone from the UKPN would like to get involved with this, then please do email me. It is a great opportunity, and would be fantastic experience. As always, we can help with ideas for visits and suggest activities that you can run with the children.

Please do email or drop me a phone call if you have any questions, contact details are below.

Look forward to hearing from you,
Many Thanks,
