UK Arctic terrestrial science "strengths and priorities" workshop.

Online, 2nd, 4th and 9th December 2025, 12:30-15:00 each day. 


Registration deadline 31st October


This workshop is being held to discuss and then produce a prospectus document outlining the UK's "Strengths and Priorities" in Arctic terrestrial research. 


The workshop welcomes Arctic terrestrial scientists at any stage of their career who are based in the UK at the time of the workshop.  We welcome and encourage ECR participation.


The terrestrial remit of this meeting will follow that of IASC: "Arctic terrestrial and freshwater environments, landscapes and biota, and their responses to, and interactions with, other components of the Earth system. The remit encompasses the dynamics of the Arctic system; past, present and future".  


The remit does not include glaciers, ice sheets or geoengineering.
