Call for contributions to virtual event "Our Planet Your Path"

Hi UKPN,

My name is Anouk and I am organising a virtual event called "Our Planet Your Path" in the first week of November.

This event will co-inside with COP-26 aiming to bring together organisations and individuals who are passionate about the environment to empower young people on how they can help solve climate change through their choice in future careers. On the 2nd of November we are launching the Antarctic Quest 21 expedition virtually where schools can meet the team, the scientists and sponsors that all take part in the expedition. We are also showcasing a wide variety of polar science jobs and were wondering if the BAS could help us reach out to polar scientists and other related jobs. We would only need a short 2-minute video about who they are, what they do and why like what they do. This will be showcased during our event and will inspire a lot of young people across the UK.

Do let me know if you would be able to be part of this and/or circulate this to your members and committee!

Thank you so much and kind regards,

Anouk
