UKAHT outreach at Dundee

Dear UKPN Members, 

The UK Antarctic Heritage Trust is looking for one person or a group a speakers to inspire young people about Science in Antarctica over the last 200years, to celebrate the 200years anniversary of the Antarctica Discovery the 27th January 2020.

We are looking for passionate scientists to connect and enthuse young people  - mainly secondary kids - with Antarctica in Dundee. The overarching aim would be to undertake a talk (or panel discussion) that inspires around the role of Antarctica. 
The venue would be the McManus Gallery - the main public art gallery/museum in Dundee. The gallery will be hosting a photographic/ art exhibition of depictions of polar landscape (past and present) at the time. Finally, your travel cost will be covered.
