The London Polar Group and Polar Research and Policy Initiative (PRPI)http://polarconnection.org are pleased to invite you to a discussion session on the ongoing work of the International Panel on Arctic Environmental Responsibility (IPAER), an independent and free-standing body tasked with assessing the environmental status of oil, gas, and mining companies in the Arctic.

The session features Emma Wilson, an independent researcher and consultant on energy, extractive industries and sustainability and a member of the Advisory Board of IPAER. IPAER is currently undertaking a perceptions survey of Arctic oil, gas and mining companies. Join us at the discussion session to find out more about the aims behind the survey and the methodology, as well as some of the issues and challenges encountered so far, and how you can take part!
