School visit-Bedford

Hello all,

We have had a request for a school visit in Bedford. Year 8 pupils who take 'Advanced science' courses are interested in a 2-hour long workshop which focuses on the polar regions, and a q+a, preferably with someone with polar experience.
The visit would be a Friday afternoon in November or December.

This sort of visit is great for someone (or 2 people if you would rather go together) who is interested in getting into outreach, as the pupils are bright, the class is small, and they will be intrigued!

If you would like to get involved, please let me know. We support everyone who takes part in outreach by giving examples of talks and workshop ideas, or just answering any questions you might have.

Please let me know by the 23rd September if interested.

Many thanks
