Reminder: Publishing in Polar Science (and get-together!), Thursday 13th, Cambridge, Kaetsu Centre

Hello UKPN folks,

For those attending the Antarctic Science Conference:

Have you ever wondered, how to choose a journal to which to submit a paper? What may be the disadvantages of Open Access Journals? How to deal with contradicting reviews?

Come to the panel session on “Publishing in Polar Science” on Thursday 13th, in the Lecture Theatre at 5.30pm.

With Karen Heywood, Jane Francis, David Vaughan, Eric Wolff, Lloyd Peck and Tom Bracegirdle, we have a panel of polar scientists from various disciplines, who will share their experience.

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions!

Cambridge-based folks:

We plan to go for a bite afterwards. If you want to join us (venue still to be decided), please email Coleen, at coleen.suckling_at_polarnetwork.org

We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Emma and Amélie
