Hi all,
I have been contacted by a lower school teacher in Paddington, London. The teacher is really keen of a UKPN member to visit her class between the 16th and 27th of March to share their knowledge of polar climates and how this effects how people live/study/ explore the polar regions as well as biological adaptations of polar animals. Obviously the session can be adjusted to match both your area of expertise and the interests of the teacher.
The school will cover any travel expenses and cost of equipment if you chose to run practical activities.
For those of you keen to participate in outreach work but don't have experience with this age group we can help you plan your session and provide example of pervious workshops.
Please contact me if you are interested
Best wishes
