SMI Thematic Collection in Microorganisms and Climate Change

Dear Polar colleagues,

Applied Microbiology International has started a new Journal entitled Sustainable Microbiology (https://academic.oup.com/sumbio<https://academic.oup.com/sumbio>), a new not-for-profit open access society journal in partnership with Oxford University Press.

As Editor-in-Chief, I am in the process of soliciting articles and in particular drawing together a thematic collection on microorganisms and climate change. In exchange we can offer submitting authors the potential of fee waivers and annual membership of the Society. We also have a range of article types. Given the network, its experience and activity in this area, is this something that you or your wider community might be in a position to contribute to?

With best wishes

David
