Dear UKPN members,
There is an online training workshop that might be of interest to you.
This exciting project is entitled 'Building, enabling and valuing UK-Russian research capacity to address climate change effects on Arctic marine ecosystems’ headed by Principal Investigator Prof. Martin Solan at the University of Southampton. As part of the APECS International Polar Week, there will be three online workshop events during 17-19th March 2021, with the one on the 18th being relevant open to all ECRs.
The workshop will cover the design, set-up and statistical analysis of climate change and biodiversity experiments (see below for agenda). The output will be to gain collaboration ideas between UK and Russian researchers. The session would be relevant for those interested in Arctic benthic ecology and marine ecosystem and biodiversity health in the wake of environmental change.
Please email W.Dbouk@soton.ac.uk or R.L.C.Jones@soton.ac.uk with any questions.
Thanks,
UKPN committee

Dear UKPN committee,
I am involved in an exciting project entitled 'Building, enabling and valuing UK-Russian research capacity to address climate change effects on Arctic marine ecosystems’ headed by Principal Investigator Prof. Martin Solan at the University of Southampton. As part of the APECS International Polar Week, we are holding three online workshop events during 17-19th March 2021, and I am emailing to ask if you could circulate this event on the 18th March to the UKPN mailing list. This event is open to all interested parties in polar research, and we would be delighted to have as many ECRs present as possible.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Best wishes,
Rhiannon
