BAS Advanced Training Short Course - Introduction to Safe & Effective Fieldwork for NERC & UKRI Funded PhD students - closing date 1st July 2025.

Hi everyone,

British Antarctic Survey will be running an Advanced Training Short Course (ATSC) “Global Change in the polar regions: An introduction to safe and effective fieldwork for NERC & UKRI funded PhD students” in March 2026.  We have 12 places available for PhD students who are working on polar based projects with little or no opportunity for polar fieldwork.

More information and how to apply can be found in the attached flyer.  We actively encourage applications from under-represented and minority groups.

Closing date for applications: 23:59 – 1st July 2025.

Best wishes
