Fw: Invitation for 5-Minute Survey on Global Conservation Priorities for Early Career Researchers

---

Hi all,

Please see below for a short, anonymous, survey on ECR's Global Conservation Priorities.

Project leads, including collaborators at Newcastle University, are trying their best to get a global perspective for this, so further sharing to other ECR networks is appreciated!!

Best wishes,
Mads

Dear conservation colleagues,

You have received this email because you have been identified as an emerging conservation professional or are part of a global or regional conservation organization recognized for its interdisciplinary conservation work.

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and University of Lausanne, through the Transdisciplinary Nature Conservation course, are working to identify the unique challenges and priorities faced by emerging conservation professionals by conducting a global survey for young people (ages 18-35) working in or studying conservation.

We kindly ask you to support this research study by giving a few minutes of your time to answer a very short (~ 5 min) completely anonymous survey about your conservation experience using this link: https://ufl.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_2mG82LbeBQmr4JE   *Available in English, Arabic, French, Spanish, Hindi, & Indonesian*

Please feel free to share this survey with other young conservation professionals in your network. We are seeking a global perspective on conservation, meaning the more responses we receive, the more representative our findings will be. Thank you for taking the time to contribute to this study. Your participation is greatly appreciated!

Confidentiality
Your answers will be kept private, secure and anonymized and will not be shared publicly or with anyone. Anonymous data collection and survey protocols for this research study have been approved by the University of Florida Institutional Review Board (#IRB202401040).

For further information
Please contact Gretchen Stokes (gstokes@ufl.edu; University of Florida Department of Soil, Water, and Ecosystem Sciences) with any questions or concerns.

Thank you in advance for your participation!

Best regards,
Breann Richey and the IUCN / UNIL Transdisciplinary Research Team
