Hello polar people,
I am pleased to announce that the first UKPN science festival event of 2024 will be at taking place at Cardiff Science Festival between the 14th and 17th February (final date(s) to be confirmed)! This is an exciting opportunity to showcase the best of polar science to children and adults in the Welsh capital, with a particular focus on reaching out to communities in less privileged areas of the city.
We are looking for volunteers to help put on the UKPN sessions, which include fun, interactive activities for guests to discover the polar regions and their inhabitants. This will be a great chance to engage a diverse audience of families and young children and potentially inspire the next generation of polar scientists!
No experience needed - all we ask is your commitment and enthusiasm. 😊
