I hope you are well.

We have had some requests through for Polar Pen Pals and Visits. Please see the two tables below.

If you are able to help with any of the requests please let me know via email and I will put you in touch with the schools.

Polar Pen Pals (these are all letters which will be written soon/have been written and are ready to send)

Coleshill Heath Primary School	Birmingham	Year 6	Arctic	Polar careers, wildlife, impact of tourism There are 6 handwritten letters which I will post out to you. 1 reply could be given to all.
Wirral Grammar School for Girls	Bebington	Year 7	Antarctic	Polar careers and wildlife – 1 letter to be sent
Hook Infant School	Hook, Hampshire	Year 1	Arctic	General interest, wildlife, weather – 4 letters to be sent
Penair School	Cornwall	Year 9	Antarctic	Careers, research, climate change – 8 letters but could be merged into 1.

School Visits – I’ve put these into date order with closest dates first.

Once in contact with the school you can arrange a date and time. Arrange fees and expenses with the school e.g. travel costs.

Ark Schools Trust	London Hastings Portsmouth Birmingham	Year 8 Year 9	Arctic for some schools Antarctic for some schools	Year 8 – Arctic environments Year 9 – Glaciation Careers Summer term 2023 If you are able to help in any of these locations please let me know then I can pass the message back to their school trust lead as to what might be possible as there are 20 schools in the trust!
