Hi all,
Please direct any questions to Chloe and Eva at festivals@polarnetwork.org :)
We (UK Polar Network Festivals Coordinators) are looking for volunteers for the National Maritime Museum's Polar festival from Sunday 24th - Wednesday 27th October 2021. They are located in Greenwich, London.
You need to be available from 10:00 - 17:00. We are hoping to have "day shifts" as opposed to morning vs afternoon for fluidity. You will of course get breaks!
We will cover travel expenses to and from the NMM. Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. If you don't live within a commutable distance to NMM and you can volunteer for the whole period, then we will cover accommodation costs.
Each volunteer will receive UKPN merchandise to wear during the event.
You will get free access to the museum to explore before and after the event.

We are looking for individuals to run kids' science experiments, talks, workshops, or would like to generally be available at a UKPN stall. At this stage both ourselves and NMM are flexible in terms of schedule and structure, so any idea is a good idea.
Please fill in this form by 1st October if you are interested in helping out: https://forms.gle/7AaaZWrgSzJow8sV8
