Two exciting PhD opportunities with the British Antarctic Survey

Dear all

currently we are advertising two exciting PhD projects on atmospheric and ice chemistry based at the British Antarctic Survey in Cambridge, UK (deadline 8 January 2018). If interested follow the links below for further details on the projects, requirements and eligibility criteria or email me.

1. "Global change in atmospheric oxidation capacity owing to polar sea salt in snow and ice" - a numerical modelling study (apply for project RHULES12 here by 8 January 2018). This project is in collaboration with Royal Holloway University of London, Egham, UK.

2. "A source of atmospheric nitrous acid (HONO) in snow – understanding air quality above snow covered regions"  - a lab and field study with the possibility of Antarctic fieldwork. This project is in collaboration with the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK.
