The 20th Anniversary of the European Research Course on Atmospheres (ERCA)
NCAS are offering bursaries to help fund 5 NERC PhD students a year to attend the European Research Course on Atmospheres (ERCA). Bursaries are only be available for current NERC funded PhD students. NERC students who wish to attend this course are required to raise some of the cost of the course themselves as individual bursaries do not cover the entire cost.
A limited number of bursaries for this course are available through NCAS for the 2012 course. To be eligible for a bursary you MUST CURRENTLY (as of October 2011) be enrolled on a NERC-funded PhD*. These bursaries cover only PART of the cost of the summer school, and to successfully bid for a bursary you must raise up to 1000 Euros from other sources.

Please forward to any relevant lists or prospective students but please do bear in mind that these bursaries can only be awarded to NERC funded PhD students. Applications from other students cannot be considered for a bursary.
