British Antarctic Survey (BAS) currently has a vacancy for a Marine Ecologist to contribute to a two-year Darwin Plus funded project: Evaluating climate change risks to Patagonian and Antarctic toothfish.
The project will undertake a risk assessment of climate-driven change to toothfish in South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, contributing to conservation priorities for the region. The post-holder will analyse and integrate a range of datasets, employ modelling techniques and spatial analyses, and collaborate with stakeholders across a range of sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an innovative research project and to be involved in internationally important polar ecosystem research.
For information on the post and how to apply:
You can also get in touch with Rachel Cavanagh rcav@bas.ac.uk if you would like any further information.
Deadline for applications is 28th March 2023.
